RMJ Tactical introduces its first hammer forged tomahawk. As always, no head handle separation, ever. Length - 15 1/2 inches. Weight - 23 oz. Designed to pierce a Kevlar helmet. The tomahawk is full Chrome-moly 4140 steel construction with the handle tang fixed into a insulated grip. The handle is ST801 Super Tuff Nylon over molded onto the full length tang. Skull crusher butt cap unscrews to provide access to the included SHARPENING STONE. Bottom Eject Kydex Scabbard with adjustable shoulder strap included. Ryan has taken our nearly indestructible tomahawk and made it stronger by hammer forging the steel forcing the grain of the steel into the profile of the tomahawk. Differentially tempered to Rockwell C hardness 55 at the striking edges and 30 Rockwell at the handle. The Shrike comes complete with a jump ready bottom eject kydex scabbard that allows you many carry options. The scabbard is configured to allow weapon sling/shoulder strap carry, belt loops, or attach direct to MOLLE equipment. Works exceptionally well on as a breaching tool. Car doors, windshields, metal or wood doors, dead bolts, etc are no problem for this exceptional tool.
